4 Wing Takes Gold At CF Prairie Regional Hockey

On January 27 at CFB Wainwright, the 4 Wing Packers hockey team competed in the final game against CFB Edmonton in the CF Prairie Regional Hockey Championships. 4 Wing was victorious, winning gold, and they will be heading off to Nationals. The final score of the game was 6 to 3. Congratulations!

PAR 2000 Installation

The APALS (Aerodrome Precision Approach and Landing System) project came into existence because our aging radar equipment, the old Precision Approach Radar (FPN 503), was becoming harder to maintain due to lack of parts. The project started in July 2011 and finished January 20 when we officially commissioned the PAR 2000.
